Leaders of Tomorrow Holiday Party

Come out on December 9th from 5-7PM and enjoy a wonderful night with our Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) students at the St. George Scholar Institute (previously St. George Community Center) 1205 S. 26th St., Louisville, KY, 40210.  There will be music, arts and crafts, games, food and a most importantly, a chance to interact with the youth in our community.  This event will be free to the public.

Kentucky Chapter Leadership Meeting

Thursday, December 11

Location: Brown-Forman 850 Dixie Hwy Louisville, KY

The executive board of the Kentucky Chapter holds a monthly leadership meeting to discuss and decide the direction of the chapter. Meetings are open to the KY-NBMBAA membership. This month’s meeting will be held at Brown-Forman (850 Dixie Hwy) on Dec 11, 2014 at 6:30pm. 

If you are interested in chapter leadership, attending the Chapter Leadership Meeting is great way to get started.

Now Accepting Executive Board Nominations!

It is time to begin the process of chapter elections. This year we have three open positions:

The Chapter Nomination Committee is now taking applications for individuals interested in one of the three open positions. If you would like to be considered for a chapter executive board position, please send your resume and brief description of your interest to kynbmbaa@gmail.com by December 12, 2014.

Additionally, updates have been made to the Chapter By-Laws

to balance out the executive roles, increase leadership commitment, and more clearly define the advisory board. Members are asked to review the updates as they will be voted on during chapter elections.

Angel Tree Gift Presentation

Mr. and Mrs. Clause will be present at the Louisville Urban League on December 8th at 6:30pm to present gifts to children from the Angel Tree. The Louisville Urban League Young Professionals (LULYP), the Kentucky Chapter of NBMBAA, and several community members have partnered together to make this holiday season merry for Louisville area kids. NBMBAA members are welcomed to join as we present the children with their gifts. 

AANG Anniversary Celebration and Social Networking
