May 2015 Issue – NBMBAA Kentucky Chapter Newsletter
The Leaders of Tomorrow® Needs Your Help
As we witnessed the events that took place in West Baltimore last month it is clear that we need a plan and a vision in place for our youth. The Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® program is attempting to help young people learn how to take advantage of and create opportunities that will prepare them for future success and leadership.
The Chapter recently held an event where we had the students write out their future goals and things that they wanted to do when they graduated. Leaders of Tomorrow® is providing these amazing young people with the tools they need to accomplish each of these goals.
To this end, the Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® students are currently preparing for the National Leaders of Tomorrow® Case Competition to be held in Houston Texas this June. To support and fund this trip the Chapter is raising funds via GoFundMe. We are asking members and friends to consider donating to support their hard work and diligence throughout the school year.
Please Make a Contribution Today! http://www.gofundme.com/kylot
If we can get 100 people to donate $25 by June 1st, it will fully fund the Leaders of Tomorrow® trip to Houston and several college visits along the way.
In addition to contributing financially, the Leaders of Tomorrow® program needs a volunteer Project Manager. Check out the job duties here: https://kynbmbaa.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/kynbmbaa-project-manager.docx.
