How to Form a Cooperative
Cooperatives are a democratic, civic-minded way to build wealth.  They are businesses owned by people who use them to achieve their economic, social or cultural goals.  Whether you want to form a worker, producer, or consumer cooperative, the basics are similar. Civil Rights activists Ella Baker and Fannie Lou Hamer both advocated for cooperative formation as a means of creating and sustaining community economic empowerment.  Join Kentucky attorneys Elizabeth Jones and Ryan Fenwick for this workshop to learn how to form a cooperative in Kentucky.  You will receive an e-book including forms to help you organize your own cooperative.
