Poverty Simulation

Hosted by Humana

The Poverty Simulation is an experience designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from week to week. The objective of the experience is to sensitize participants to the realities faced by low-income people and motivate them to become involved in the activities which help reduce poverty within our communities.  It is a simulation, not a game.

Humana is excited to offer a Poverty Simulation Experience on June 28. This opportunity is free and open to the public. To register, please submit an email to kynbmbaa@gmail.com with your name and a contact number.   The sessions will be presented by Kathleen Cooter, Ph.D from Bellarmine University.
