Upon Jesse Tyson’s, who was the President and CEO of the NBMBAA, retirement, Kay Wallace was inducted as the new President and CEO. She will bring in some dynamic and innovative programming that will take us to a new level as we enter into our 50th Year as an organization.

This year’s conference was an incredible experience for the Kentucky Chapter as we were announced as the Tier 2 Chapter of the Year and the Model Chapter for Small to Medium Size Chapters.  This is the 1st time that Kentucky has been awarded Chapter of the Year and named Model Chapter.   We want to thank the Leadership Team, Committee Members, our Highly Engaged Members,  our Corporate and Community Partners, and our Sponsors. Your dedication and support to our mission has made it possible for us to obtain this honor and be recognized on the National Level.

The NBMBAA’s 42nd Annual Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. September 22 – 26, 2020 as we celebrate and commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the National Black MBA Association.  As Kay Wallace stated “Get your Mind, Money and Matter together as we inspire and focus on making 2020 a memorable and impactful year for members, stakeholders and sponsors”.
