Since the re-launch in 2014, the Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT)® Program has engaged Louisville high school students in meaningful character and leadership experiences. With a commitment to develop participants ability to navigate complex life situations and create a positive impact in their communities, this program has:
- Created opportunities for about 20 students annually
- Awarded a total of $19,000 in scholarships
- Participated in 6 National Business Case Competitions
- Continuously built Louisville’s pipeline of leaders
The Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® is a yearlong, after school program that serves as the primary means by which the Kentucky Chapter manifests the association’s mission for high school students by teaching them leadership, financial literacy, college and career preparation, and life skills. Additionally, two scholarships are awarded to participating students each year. The program objective for the Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® is to empower high-school students with the tools necessary to become future leaders in the business realm.

Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® Showcase
The Kentucky Leaders of Tomorrow® Showcase is the culminating local event for the program year. This flagship event recognizes student accomplishments, announces scholarship recipients, and exhibits the hard work done in preparation for the National Business Case Competition to their family, friends, partners, and the community.
National Leaders of Tomorrow® Leadership Summit
Each year, high school students from across the country travel to participate in the Annual National Black MBA Association® Leaders of Tomorrow® Leadership Summit. The highlight of the Leaders of Tomorrow® Leadership Summit is the annual National Business Case Competition which is designed to help participants develop real-world critical thinking and problem-solving skills by researching, analyzing, and presenting recommendations for an MBA level business case study.
We Are Recruiting Leaders of Tomorrow® Students
Do you know a high school student with potential and they just need an extra boost? This program may be just what they need to excel! The Leaders of Tomorrow® program helps students develop the discipline needed to achieve their goals. With lessons and activities on leadership, personal branding, resume writing, and so much more, students will not only be prepared for college, but they will also have an opportunity to compete for scholarship funds on a local and national level.
